I was commissioned to create a four feet by six feet painting in South Florida in November 2019. The finished painting was completed on January 31, 2020 and delivered to the owners on February 6, 2020.
The owners wanted a painting similar to Rhapsody in Blue. They wanted shades of blue to match their existing decor colors. I added a gold accent to pick up the gold/bronze colors of a modern geometric plate that hung near the new painting.
