Art Fort Lauderdale is a 4-day curated art fair that transports attendees on a journey along the famed Intracoastal waterways via water taxi and private yacht with stops at vacant multi-million dollar waterfront properties that feature emerging artists exhibiting various styles and methods of art that reflect the past, the present and the future. This destination art fair seeks to highlight the uniqueness of the city and put Fort Lauderdale on the art world map as a premiere location to view, interact with and purchase art along with giving art aficionados, residents and visitors a cultural experience that is memorable, interactive and engaging.
Art fairs are one of the most powerful platforms for galleries and artists to connect face to face with an audience of dedicated buyers and account for over 40 percent of most galleries revenue and $13 billion of worldwide art sales. However, the decline in attendance over the years is evidence of its need for replenishment and an opportunity to create something unique - an artistic journey within an art fair if you will.
The 4th Annual Art Fort Lauderdale - "The Art Fair On The Water" comes after the creation of the inaugural Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week by The UniteUs Group in 2019 - the same creative agency behind #ArtFTL & Choose954.
Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week (January 18-26, 2020) is a result of the desire to unite all of Fort Lauderdale's arts & cultural institutions in an effort to highlight all that the city has to offer through an annual self-guided tour and celebration of everything art and culture throughout the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. The ultimate goal in creating this week is to establish Fort Lauderdale as an international cultural destination.
The week will showcase the vast amount of cultural opportunities the city has to offer residents, collectors, dealers, art enthusiasts and visitors alike. All of this will be made possible while also serving as a platform for research and promotion of the arts, its relationship to the community, and discussions over contemporary art trends in the areas of Architecture, Cinema, Dance, Music, Theater, and other facets of The Arts.

Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week 2020 will partner with the city’s most prestigious institutions to feature select aligned programming, including museum exhibitions, artist studio tours, gallery openings, get-togethers, vents, architectural walks, roundtables, professional encounters and more.
